District Health Department #10 is a local public health agency which was formed on October 1, 1997, through the consolidation of four health departments into one organization. The agency is the largest geographical health department in Michigan and is the tenth largest based upon population. DHD#10 provides an aray of clinical and preventative services as well as Environmental Health related enforcement and preventative services. The health jurisdiction covers: Crawford, Kalkaska, Lake, Manistee, Mason, Mecosta, Missaukee, Newaygo, Oceana and Wexford Counties. An office is located in each of the counties to facilitate easy access to services and programs.
